Our Story
Feather Wings Studio was born from a simple yet powerful idea: what if a chicken's quest for freedom could inspire millions of players worldwide? Founded in late 2022 by a group of passionate game developers who met during a weekend game jam, our studio began as a weekend project in a cramped garage in Portland, Oregon.
The concept for Runaway Chicken: Epic Escape emerged when our creative director witnessed a real chicken escaping from a local farm and thought, "This would make an amazing game!" What started as a humorous observation quickly evolved into a comprehensive game design that combines strategic puzzle-solving with heartwarming storytelling.
After months of late-night coding sessions, countless iterations, and an unwavering belief in our feathered protagonist, we launched our first beta version in early 2023. The overwhelming positive response from our initial 10,000 beta testers convinced us that we had something special.
